Corozo Style owner/designer Gabriella Romero d'Harvey is the eldest of four daughters who all grew up in the capital city of Quito, Ecuador. Together they share an extremely strong family bond and a common devotion to the vibrancy and rich cultural diversity of Latin America. It was while visiting her home in Ecuador a few years ago that she made the decision to follow in her father’s footsteps and committed to join him in the sustainable business community by exporting to North America the tagua nut beads produced by his factory in Ecuador. As an artist she immediately saw the unique aesthetic draw found from the versatility and beautiful natural form of the tagua nut beads, and as a business woman she understood the innumerable benefits behind creating an ecologically sound and environmentally sustainable line of fashion products made from these beads.

Gabriella is an international traveler and entrepreneur who is fluent in 5 languages and has called 4 countries home while pursuing her education (a degree in International Business applied to foreign languages) and her love of international business. With over ten years of experience in international public relations and international trade, Gabriella is truly committed to the preservation of biodiversity and the promotion and protection of sustainably harvested treasures like the tagua nut.
